Play Kille is the fourth album of Mainland Jazz Collective. It features exclusively original compositions, by all its band members. The theme of the album is the 'Kille' deck of cards; a card game dating back to the Medieval times. Each card carry a motif depicting different animals, flowers and people in typically Medieval roles, and the tunes of the album have been composed with these motifs in mind. The musical result is an eventful, dramatic and at times humorous album, however in the generel sound and style of Mainland Jazz Collective hard bop jazz.
